GUN project – QLD, Australia 2016
Duration - 6 months
Access - EWP
The Gateway Upgrade North (GUN) project in Brisbane required the widening of 6 existing bridges to accommodate the new proposed road. Prior to construction of new bridges the condition of the transverse stressing bars in the existing bridges required confirmation to enable the new structures to be coupled to the existing.
The RokTel system was deployed to test each transverse stressing bar in each bridge. The majority of the work was completed over a 6 month period with testing taking place during night shifts.
The RokTel findings were used to confirm the integrity of the transverse stressing bars.
