Runner Platform Anchor Bolts – TAS Australia, 2013

A corrosion assessment of short anchor bolts holding up platform runners in a Hydro Station tailrace were assessed during an outage in 2013.

Due to the wet/damp atmosphere the corrosion risk is high. 64 bolts were tested and a condition status reported.

The information provided enables the client to ensure adequate remedial measures are taken and risks are mitigated during future maintenance. A baseline for future monitoring has also been established.
