Performance Monitoring
Performance monitoring can save an operator or owner significant time, money and also facilitate a safe, efficient environment- with regard to assets, specifically structures and discrete elements within structures. This can be important when additional or adjacent work is being completed and risk to nearby structures is identified, or there are isolated structures that require remote monitoring – enhanced management is required.
Monitoring will identify changes to elements over time depending on the type of monitoring adopted, surveying for example may identify movement of a structure but will not necessarily identify which part of the structure is causing the movement.
We pride ourselves on developing and designing the most effective monitoring and measuring schemes to satisfy your requirements and provide the most amount of useable information. These may include:
- Borehole Extensometers
- Tilt Monitors
- Vibrating wire gauges
- Vibration sensors
- Acoustic Emissions
Some of the technology used is bespoke in-house purpose designed, an example being the remote Anchor/Multi-strand monitoring (in conjunction with CCPS) currently being used to monitor the loss of cross section of cables in post-tension concrete structures.
Also under development is the remote RokTel system which will be used for monitoring various steel embedded elements including rock bolts/cables, ground anchors, tie rods and post construction anchors.
